Company Overview
Betasoft Limited are an
authorised reseller and distributor of SafeCom hardware and software in the
UK and
Republic
of
Ireland as well as a SafeCom Certified Partner
SafeCom, a Danish company, was formed in October
2002 by a group of former i-Data employees. The company started
out with their external solution of SafeCom Controller and touch-screen
front-end.
However, soon after their formation the team begun
working on a software solution for HP printers and mfps. The development
language for the embedded solution was Chai Java, originally based
on Sun Microsystems' Chai Java Virtual Machine.
The
first release of an an embedded solution for both the HP 4100mfp
and 9000mfp came in December 2003 and was called "SafeCom Go".
