Advanced Reporting Install Guide

1. Download the 2 zip files from the Betasoft Downloads page.

2. Unzip and install the Betasoft.ReportViewer.Setup.exe. During the install process you will be asked to provide the database name a login and a password. If you do not have the login information leave it blank. You will be able to create a new login later.

3. Unzip and copy the extracted Betasoft.ReportViewer.Reports.dll into the program directory.

4. Next you run the Betasoft.ReportViewer.Config.exe in the program folder and specify the details as follows:

server: YOURSQLSERVER\SAFECOMMSDE (specify your sql server and instance name)
login: yournewsqllogin
password: yournewsqlpassword

This will create new login credentials for use by the viewer.

5. Obtain a license key, which is dependent on your computer name.

6. Start the program. Select About | View License | Enter License
